私たちの理念BACSAC®は柔軟なプランター、ガーデンアクセサリー、日常生活のオブジェをデザインし、自然をより身近に感じれるフランスのブランドです。自然が私たちのインスピレーションである一方で、私たちは街にも愛着を持っています。 肥沃な土壌の少なさ、汚染された地面、重量と空間の制約などの問題に対応するために、コンクリートジャングルの中でも植物を育てることのできるBACSAC®は生まれました。私たちの夢は、さまざまな問題に適切に対応できる、実用的で持続可能なソリューションをご提案することです。
BACSAC® is a French brand that designs flexible planters, garden accessories, and everyday objects to bring you closer to nature.While nature is our inspiration, we have a penchant for the city. To tackle a lack of access to fertile soil, contaminated ground, and weight and space constraints, we created BACSAC®: a cultivable plot of land amid the concrete jungle. Our ambition is to offer a relevant, convenient, and sustainable solution that addresses multiple issues, reintroducing nature into the city and adapting it to any scale: from the smallest balcony to the grandest landscaping projects.

わたしたちのルーツBACSAC®は2008年にパリで生まれました。Virgile DesurmontとLouis de Fleurieuという都市の緑化に関する仕事をしていた2人の造園家と、自然を愛するデザイナーGodefroy de Virieuとの3人の隣人たちの偶然の出会いからです。 彼らは、重さと空間の制約から解放された自由な都市を夢見て、伝統的な植木鉢に代わるものがないか探し始めます。緑を取り戻すため、都市の一部を再生するという複雑な問題に対処しようとしました。
BACSAC® was born in Paris in 2008, out of a chance encounter between three neighbours: two landscape architects involved in promoting the return of nature into the city – Virgile Desurmont and Louis de Fleurieu – and one nature-loving designer, Godefroy de Virieu. They dreamed of a free city, liberated from the constraints of weight and space, and they set out to find alternatives to traditional flowerpots to address the complications of reclaiming parts of the city to bring back nature.
こうして、「ジオテキスタイル」というしなやかで軽量な合成繊維を使用した、持ち運べるプランターが生まれました。バッグをプランターとして使うという考え方は、「植物を育てるために土を入れるもの」という単純な原則に立ち返って、新たな習慣を広めたいという思いから生まれました。この布地は、街のあらゆるところで植物を育てることができるよう、様々なサイズに対応。こうして、デザインと風景の間となる、美しくスマートで使いやすいプロダクトを提供し始めました。BACSAC®はその根を世界中の窓枠、バルコニー、テラス、庭園にまでに張り、土壌へのアクセスを提供 することでコンクリートが広がる土地にも緑を広げています。
Together, they invented a whole new kind of flexible, lightweight, portable geotextile planter. The idea of using bags as planters stemmed from a desire to promote new habits, to emphasize the value of what truly matters – plants – and to go back to the simple principle of containing soil to cultivate it. This fabric, to which they gave different shapes for every use, makes it possible to grow plants in every little corner of the city. This is how they started offering beautiful, smart, easy-to-use objects, halfway between design and landscapeSince then, BACSAC® has spread its roots all the way to windowsills, balconies, terraces, and gardens all around the world, conquering the concrete by providing access to soil.
